About

It feels like I am watching transparent wings flapping. Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul was built with inspiration from the graceful movements of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and the Dongrae Crane Dance, which expresses the movements of cranes. It was designed by Frank Gehry, a master of modern architecture who designed the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The interior details are influenced by the work of architect Peter Marino, who designed the Chanel Seoul flagship. It is not simply a space to display and sell Louis Vuitton products, but a space where various attempts such as art exhibitions and restaurants take place.
