Joongang Haejang is the mecca of both hangover soups and gopchang hot pot-the perfect companion to booze.

Meals include brisket hangover soup, intestine soup, brisket gomtang, and beef foot soup. The most popular, Yangseonji Haejangguk, is not very spicy compared to the dark red color of the soup and is easy to taste even on an empty stomach.
