About This Event
Gangnam Art Festival 2026 takes place across Gangnam in step with the opening of 2026 Kiaf·Frieze Seoul.
Three programs run from August 27 to September 10: Gangnam Art Salon, which turns Dosan Park into a one-night art space; Cheongdam Night, when 26 galleries and museums stay open late; and the Gangnam Art 2026 Stamp Tour across 49 galleries and art museums in the district.
Collect stamps as you visit exhibitions, meet Gangnam’s galleries on large digital media screens in Dosan Park, and hunt for Ryan Gander’s coin artworks hidden around the city.

01Gangnam Art Salon
Held at Dosan Park on September 2, 2026 — the opening day of Kiaf·Frieze Seoul — Gangnam Art Salon brings together art lovers and international visitors attending Cheongdam Night and Frieze Live. In a park where nature and art meet in the middle of the city, a range of programs invites you to experience art up close and share cultures with one another.

〈The Find Seoul〉 Project — Your Chance to Own a Ryan Gander Coin Artwork
Ryan Gander’s interactive art project 〈The Find〉 makes its Seoul appearance through a collaboration between the Gangnam District Office, the Seoul Tourism Organization and SONGEUN Art and Cultural Foundation.
Created by FACTORY INTERNATIONAL, 〈The Find〉 premiered at Manchester International Festival in 2023 and has since travelled to Cáceres, Spain (2024) and Okayama, Japan (2025), reflecting the history and culture of each city. Coin artworks designed by the artist are scattered around the city for people to hunt for and take home.

The autumn 2026 Gangnam Art Stamp Tour runs alongside Kiaf·Frieze Seoul. View exhibitions at the galleries and museums listed in the Gangnam Art 2026 leaflet, collect stickers on its pages, then bring the leaflet to the COEX General Information Desk to receive gifts — including admission tickets to 2026 Kiaf·Frieze Seoul — based on how many stickers you have.
