Introduction

Green corridors not only ecologically reconnect green spaces severed by road construction, but also link trails and walking paths. The Yangjae-daero Green Corridor spans 8 lanes of Yangjae-daero with a 20-meter width and 52.6-meter length, combining a green conservation and wildlife corridor (minimum 10m wide) with a pedestrian path (2m wide) in a design harmonizing people and nature. By connecting approximately 3.5 km of green space from Maebong Station to Yangjaecheon to Dalter Park to the Guryongsan summit, it links Daemosan's forest paths with Yangjaecheon's waterways, helping restore an ecological axis right in the middle of a residential area.
