Chick Peace - Halal Meets Vegan
Chef-owner Wi Won-jun spares no effort to make Middle Eastern food more familiar and approachable. He makes burgers with authentic pita bread and reinterpreted Middle Eastern appetizers as easy-to-eat salads.
About

I was skeptical for a moment at the exotic menu name, but when I tasted it, it was good, good, excellent. It was the skill of owner and chef Wonjun Won-jun that made unfamiliar Middle Eastern food familiar. We made a burger with authentic pita bread (a staple bread in the Middle East and Greece) and reinterpreted a Middle Eastern appetizer into an easy-to-eat salad. What is the result of this unique challenge? The rapid opening of branches in Seoul is the report card of Chickpeas. If you are on a diet, this is a restaurant that will take responsibility for your diet management. There is a vegan menu that includes falafel (a dish made by grinding chickpeas or fava beans, forming it into a round shape and frying it) in all dishes, including burgers, shakshuka, salad, and rice. Despite the high-quality ingredients, the prices are very reasonable.
