Hidden M Gallery presents Hyeyeon Choi's solo exhibition "White Shadows," exploring how personal and collective unconsciousness — and the traces of trauma — can be visualized. Centered on the recurring motif of the forest, the show reveals layers of sensation underlying states of being shaped by change.
For Choi, the forest is neither a representation of nature nor a space of healing. It is where sensation lingers, where the gaze drifts, and where body and mind tremble subtly. Through fine gradations of white and refined textures, the artist investigates the boundary between presence and absence.
